Architecture: BIG — Bjarke Ingels Group. Work completed as part of the project team.
IQON combines residences, retail, offices and shared amenities in a 32-story building. Its stacked concrete volumes create terraces, while sculptural planters bring greenery into the architecture. My involvement spanned schematic design through construction administration, with a Project Architect role from the construction documentation phase.
- Co-led the project from construction documentation through completion.
- Produced architectural drawings and design studies to resolve design and construction challenges.
- Maintained direct client communication and coordinated project issues.
- Participated in regular on-site workshops, approximately every four months, to advance coordination.
Working across scales.
The project connects the organization of a mixed-use ground floor with the resolution of sculptural concrete elements and intimate interior spaces. The selected material shows how a consistent design intent can be developed across different scales.
