Architecture: SO–IL. Work completed as part of the project team.
Amant brings galleries, artist studios, offices and a café into a campus woven through North Brooklyn. Concrete, brick and galvanized steel give familiar materials an unexpected depth, creating a sequence of public and private spaces.
- Led the production of the architectural construction set for the gallery at 315 Maujer Street.
- Developed solutions to design and construction challenges in collaboration with the project team.
- Coordinated with consultants through the development of the drawing set.
The identity is in the detail.
Rotated brick, textured concrete and galvanized steel create changes in shadow, transparency and depth. The portfolio pairs these material studies with façade and window details, showing the connection between an architectural idea and its assembly.
